We have a great opportunity for you as a full time Clinical Coordinator at Chalmers Home with a start date of early December 2017. You will of course have New Zealand nursing registration, a current APC and at least 5 years experience as a RN, two of which should be in aged care. A Post Graduate Certificate in Nursing is desirable.
This is a "hands on" clinical role which supports the Home Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager to provide a safe environment for residents and staff through
• Effective day-to-day co-ordination and supervision of resident care
• Provision of professional leadership and support to the RNS, ENs and Unregulated care staff
The role will need to provide on-call cover and some weekend work will be required on a shared basis to ensure there is always senior RN cover available.
